Ensuring personal information is kept only for the purposes for which it was collected.
Providing you with reasonable access to your information and clear procedures for correction.
Maintaining accountability under the Statutory Tort for Serious Invasions of Privacy (introduced in 2025).
We primarily collect information you provide directly, including:
Contact Information: Name, address, email, and phone number.
Payment Information: Transaction details (we use PCI-compliant gateways and do not store full credit card numbers).
Account Information: Encrypted passwords and purchase history.
Device Data: In the course of repairs, we may have temporary access to data stored on your devices. Note: We do not “collect” or “use” your files for our business; access is strictly for the purpose of the requested repair.

Communication: To provide service updates (e.g., “Your PC is ready”) and respond to inquiries.
Marketing: To send relevant newsletters or surveys. You can opt-out at any time.
Automated Decision-Making: We currently do not use automated systems to make decisions that significantly affect your rights or interests. If this changes (e.g., using AI for credit assessments), this policy will be updated to reflect how those decisions are made.
We take every reasonable precaution to protect your data using:
Technical Measures: SSL encryption for all web traffic, secure firewalls, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for staff accounts.
Organisational Measures: Restricting physical access to our office, training staff on privacy protocols, and implementing a Notifiable Data Breaches response plan.
Data Destruction: We securely destroy or de-identify personal information once it is no longer required for a legal or business purpose.
Repair Access: While repairing your hardware, our technicians may be exposed to your data. We maintain strict internal protocols to ensure your files remain private and are never copied or disclosed.
Uncollected Goods: In accordance with our Terms of Service and the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW), if hardware is deemed abandoned and earmarked for disposal/resale, we will perform a certified secure data wipe of all storage media to ensure your personal information is permanently destroyed.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share data with third parties (like shipping couriers or payment gateways) as necessary to complete your transaction. We do not provide your details to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
You have the right to access and correct the personal information we hold about you. Most details can be managed via the “Your Account” page on our website. For manual requests, we will respond within 30 days.

This policy outlines your rights regarding refunds, returns, and exchanges for products and services provided by Campbelltown Computer Repairs. This policy is designed to be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In accordance with the Competition and Consumer Regulations 2010, Campbelltown Computer Repairs provides the following mandatory notice:
Notice under the Australian Consumer Law:
Data Loss: The repair of your goods may result in the loss of user-generated data (including but not limited to files, photos, and software). It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure all data is backed up prior to the commencement of any service. Campbelltown Computer Repairs is not liable for data loss.
Refurbished Parts: Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
If you wish to return a product for reasons other than a breach of the ACL Guarantees, Campbelltown Computer Repairs may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund or credit subject to:
Timeframe: Within 14 days of the date of purchase.
Condition: Goods must be in original, resaleable condition, including all original packaging and manuals. Seals must not be broken.
Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of up to 25% applies. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exclusions: Does not apply to “Special Orders,” hardware components, digital licenses, or opened hygiene-sensitive items.
To ensure alignment with the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW):
Storage Fees: If goods are not collected within 7 days of notification, a storage fee of $5.00 per day will be charged from the 8th day.
30-Day Disposal: If goods remain uncollected for 30 days, we will issue a Final Notice. If still unclaimed, we reserve the right to sell or dispose of the goods to recover costs.
Privacy: We perform a secure data wipe prior to disposal but are not liable for data loss.
Contact: Call +61 487 007 632.
Shipping: We cover shipping for ACL/faulty returns. The Customer bears all costs and risks for “change of mind” returns.
Claims regarding billing or administrative errors must be raised within 90 days. This does not limit your ACL rights for hardware failures.
Campbelltown Computer Repairs reserves the right to modify or update this Refund, Returns & Exchange Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on our website. It is the responsibility of the Customer to review this policy regularly to stay informed of any updates. By continuing to use our services or website, you agree to be bound by the version of the policy current at the time of your transaction.

Title: Ownership (Title) does not pass to the Customer until full payment has been received by Campbelltown Computer Repairs.
Inspection: Customers must examine goods upon delivery and provide written notice of any defect within five (5) days. Failure to do so deems the goods accepted in good condition.
In accordance with the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW), these terms govern items left for repair, inspection, or storage:
Notification: We will notify you via the contact details provided (SMS, Email, or Phone) once your goods are ready.

30-Day Limit: Goods will be held for a maximum of 30 days from the initial notification date.
Final Notice & Disposal: If goods remain uncollected on the 30th day, a Final Notice of Intention to Dispose of Goods will be issued. If the goods are not claimed and all fees are not paid within the timeframe specified in that notice, we reserve the right to sell or dispose of the goods to recover our costs.
Data Responsibility: We perform a secure wipe on abandoned hardware prior to disposal, but we take no responsibility for the loss of data on uncollected items.
Payment must be made in full without deduction or set-off. In the event of default:
We may recover all collection costs (legal/agency fees) and interest at the bank overdraft rate plus 2% per annum.
We may retake possession of the goods without notice and resell them after seven (7) days’ written notice.
A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply.
Except where ACL Guarantees apply, we are not liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.
Expiry: Gift Vouchers are valid for 3 years (36 months) from the issue date.
Tax: Vouchers are exclusive of GST as the business is not GST-registered.
Usage: Vouchers are only redeemable online and cannot be exchanged for cash.
All sales are deemed made in New South Wales (NSW). Any dispute shall be governed by NSW law, and the Customer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.
Campbelltown Computer Repairs reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time.
For minor updates, changes take effect immediately upon posting to the website. For material changes, we will provide notice via a prominent announcement on our website.
